    About the role

    This post offers an exciting opportunity to work with Christian Aid (CA) and to contribute to the Brazil programme engagement with Churches and Faith Based organisations. The role will support the programme on the development of one of CA corporate priorities ensuring clear communication with key stakeholders inside the organisation. The post holder is responsible for implementing, monitoring and reporting on projects that promotes the role of Faith Based Organisations and Churches as important actors on critical development issues. The person will work closely with relevant CA partners, increasing collaboration with Ecumenical networks and on funding proposals to Churches in UK/I/Spain and USA.

    It is a full time position and it requires an immediate start.

    About you

    Essential experience and skills required from applicants:

    Essential

    • Comfortable of working with all faiths and non
    • Understanding of the Brazil context and the Brazilian Civil Society including ecumenical movement.
    • Good knowledge of Latin American and Caribbean ecumenical networks.
    • Capacity in terms of team work and building/influencing relationships.
    • Ability to build effective working relationships across organisations and at distance.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese
    • Digitally enabled.
    • Consistent working experience on project monitoring and design

     Desirable

    • Consistent work experience from INGOs.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills Spanish
    • Consistent work experience on communications.
